Tasty LENTILS with Soy Sauce

Tasty lentils with soy sauce combined with ginger make a good combination and balanced taste.  A healthy whole food plant-based dish because lentils are one of the best protein sources. This recipe is best served with warm hulled oats.

  • 250 gr cooked lentils
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 cm of fresh ginger (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon of tamari sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of dark sweet soy sauce
  • Parsley to garnish
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • 20 ml water
  • Heat the oil in a pan, put in the garlic and ginger, stir until fragrant.
  • Put in the cooked lentils and mix well with the garlic and ginger then add the tamari and soy sauce.
  • Mix well the lentils and the sauce, turn down the heat then add a bit of water not to burn the lentils. Add salt and pepper to taste then stir until all the ingredients are well combined.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve it with warm hulled oats.
